What is the role of Army soldier after retirement in nation building?

Indian Army is counted among the largest and most powerful army in the world.  Presently there are about 14 lakh active and about 10 lakh reserve soldiers.  The Army is the most powerful and trained.

Indian soldiers have made a big contribution to nation building and outside the nation as well.

After retirement, a disciplined and hardworking citizen gets the Indian society.

Contribution of soldiers in nation building after retirement

Most soldiers come home after retiring after 16 years of service.  After retirement, the respect and respect that the soldiers should get is not available.  Social adjustment is very difficult due to their love of discipline and lifestyle.  As soon as he retires, a lot of the wealth he gets is spent on group banquets and celebrations.  After this comes the burden of many responsibilities.  In India there is no individualism, group or sociality is the first and foremost, so the imaginary issues related to the customs and identity of the society become more effective. This causes difficulty in his normal life.

In many places, their love of discipline, lifestyle is even made fun of.  This is all considered normal.  But all this leaves the former soldier isolated.  Later, he gets into physical, financial and psychological problems.

This can be seen in rural areas generally for an ordinary soldier.  There is no such problem at the official level.  In general the service life is also longer.

A great contribution of a retired soldier is seen in nation building.

 1. Retired soldiers are given reservation in certain areas by the Central and State Governments.  Reservation is given in railways, banking, security companies, civil jobs like education, revenue, state subordinate and officer level services etc. and contribution to service work with integrity and honesty.

There have been hardly any cases of corruption of ex-servicemen.

 2. Contributes as security watchdogs to a large number of private security agencies.  In companies, factories, offices, hotels, etc.

  3. A large number of soldiers make significant contribution in domestic work like farming, animal husbandry, dairy, mining etc.

This is not enough in present day India.  The contribution of soldiers can be taken more and their life can be better.

 some suggestions

 1. Ex-servicemen can be given such land which is unusable like desert, hilly.  If some facilities or resources are also given along with this land, then there will be a productive transformation of the land and the soldier will also be able to live his normal life without interference.

 2. There are many areas which are sensitive like Kashmir, Northeast etc.  Interested soldiers can be provided with the facility of settling here and means of employment.  It will be important from security and strategic point of view.

 3. Contribution of soldiers can be taken in forest department, environment protection, agricultural marketing and processing, mechanical, safety equipment manufacturing, village library, social welfare schemes.

 4. Contribution can be taken effectively in the modernization of the nation by giving interest free loans and technical and suggestions and assistance to start up start-ups.

In military service, a person's socialization takes place in a special way, which makes him a loyal, honest and obedient soldier.  This soldier is always alive in him even after his retirement.
 5. State and Central Government should organize special training camps of 1/2 year after retirement for ex-servicemen in the fields of agriculture, animal husbandry, start up, social welfare schemes and works and technical training, forestry, gardening, library, construction etc.  Join.

These will create jobs at a fast pace and the country and the states will get economic momentum.

 6. In the changing era, cases of crime, robbery etc. will increase, contribution can be taken from ex-servicemen for their prevention.

 7. After retirement, a large number of employees lead an irregular and chaotic life.  Shelter homes are becoming more and more in urban India.  In such a situation, many NGOs can take the help of ex-servicemen, such a system should be developed.

 8. India is a sleeping power when it comes to sports.  Ex-servicemen can enhance their talents in sports.  Sports culture can be developed from sportspersons and ex-servicemen by forming Olympic committees at village level.

Thus we understand that ex-servicemen are currently contributing in nation building.  A big contribution can be taken by training the ex-servicemen and by making systemic reforms and changes.

Growing population is a problem in India but trained population can prove beneficial.  The soldier is a disciplined and loyal worker.  Disciplined and dedicated citizens should not be overlooked in nation building.
